With the release of his new album, ‘Almost Human’, Steve Angello sought to reinvent his live performances in a way that would reflect his recent spiritual awakening. The album was thus split up into three distinct acts: Genesis, Inferno and Paradiso. Social media was to play a key role in the release of his new album so Angello and his label Kobalt teamed up with Circulate to implement and integrate this new vision across his online channels.
The goal for this campaign extended beyond simply impressions and awareness and was focused on re-engaging with Steve Angello’s lapsed social fan base. A core objective was to create an exclusive experience for Steve’s fans, unearthing the creative process behind the album, and encouraging discussion around the key themes of Geneisis, Inferno and Paradiso. This was achieved by generating a uniquely interactive story, told in 3 parts across 3 separate platforms; Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Over the course of the campaign we delivered over 14.5 Million impressions across Facebook and Twitter, with an average daily reach of 76k users on Facebook alone. Total engagements with content across all platforms exceeded 876K engagements and video views surpassed 753K views on Facebook along with 1,167,000 views on Steve Angello’s YouTube channel.
This activity contributed to generating over 7,378,406 streams on Spotify.
